Ark Legal along with PrivEzi organized a roundtable consultation focusing on enterprises and the impact of DPDP Act 2023 on them and the challenges posed for them such as the complexity, their global operations, data management, customer growth and the financial implications.

The Agenda was to touch upon the Legislative Overview of the Act, exploring the essential compliance indicators,  third party risk management among others.

Ark Legal hosted a roundtable on gaming regulation in India, bringing together industry experts, legal professionals and stakeholders to discuss the evolving landscape of online gaming in the country. The roundtable addressed the complexities of regulating the gaming industry, particularly in light of India’s fragmented legal framework, where state-specific laws govern gambling and betting. 

On January 02, 2023, MeitY proposed an amendment to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (“IT Rules”) which was open for consultation from the public, proposed to extend its ambit to ‘online gaming intermediaries’.
